I was walking down a random street in Quebec City (2018) and admired its quietness, architecture, and how the sun was hitting the building facades while the street below remained in the shade.

When I visited San Diego in 2017, I visited La Jolla then wandered north by foot, walking through various neighborhoods and by the UC San Diego campus before stumbling upon the Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve, where I took this photo.
