Cherry blossoms when I visited Nara in 2019. I had not really pre-planned my trip and happened to go at the time they were in blossom.

When I visited San Diego in 2017, I visited La Jolla then wandered north by foot, walking through various neighborhoods and by the UC San Diego campus before stumbling upon the Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve, where I took this photo.
