In 2007, before I was even 21 years old, I wrote the following note on my Facebook page (before Facebook censored me):
I’m against this as much as any of you, but Iran will be attacked and here’s why:
1. Most people in this country are afraid to speak up to this administration.
2. This has been planned for a long time. Take a look at a world map and ask why was Afghanistan attacked? The hijackers were mostly Saudi, and Al-Queada is everywhere including Africa, Pakistan, Turkmenistan, etc. Well, Afghanistan borders Iran on the East (for the US to set up invading forces there).
3. Now ask yourself why Iraq was attacked. Iraq borders Iran on the west and no WMDs were found (just a lie to buy the people into attacking). Now US forces can attack from the West as well as the East.
4. The US already has bases in Turkmenistan; no need to attack them. Those forces can invade from the North.
5. Lastly the US has forces in the Persian Gulf. Just recently a US submarine got into an accident with a Japanese ship exposing it location very close to Iran. Those forces can attack Iran from the South. Now, Iran is set up to be attacked from all sides.
6. Charles Rangel (D-NY) has been trying hard for years to get a draft. Also in spite of how unpopular the war is in Iraq. The forces are increasing deliberately going against the will of the nation. If the US pulled its forces out from Iraq, they would basically be giving up the option to invade Iran from the West.
7. Iran has said many times that they’re willing to talk and debate. But all the administration says is that we do not deal with the “devil”. This is an archaic method of vilifying people used for thousands of years. Take a second and ask yourself who’s not being diplomatic.
This all occurred to me while I was casually looking at a map.
